Remembrances

As I was searching for old schoolhouses in the Lapeer area, I came across Leland’s Flickr page and was delighted to see so many paintings of Lapeer Schoolhouses!

If this webpage is still up and running, PLEASE drop me a note. I would love to talk to a family member about the history of these schoolhouses. I am a lifelong Lapeer resident, grew up about a mile from Millville School (my Dad and brothers went there) and I went to Farnsworht school.

Anxious to hear back!

I'm glad you found the site about Leland Mick. Thanks for posting a comment! He's my grandfather and I started the site after he passed away last year. I still have family back in Lapeer but I currently live in Austin, TX. What kind of questions do you have about the schoolhouses? I'll see if I can help you out.
